Explore the freedom of expression in art as you experiment with form, space, and emotion in this dynamic class. This class is an expansion of a shorter class of the same name. Learn to loosen up your painting style, simplify composition, and embrace experimentation. We will start each class with 4 or 8 small size guided exercises that will be done quickly and fluently on paper. We will then expand these exercises into full size paintings. (at least 9” x 12”). We’ll do some online sharing among ourselves to get input from our fellow students as well as from the instructor* Our last class will be spent making a book from our small paintings so they serve as a permanent reference. Every effort will be made to make this class interactive both with the instructor and fellow students. The class will be recorded and will be downloadable and available online for at least 6 months after the class ends. Supply list upon registration.
