Absolutely Abstracts: MORE expressive acrylic painting techniques

In this new workshop, taught by Golden Artist Educator, Jacqueline Sullivan will explore many ways to conquer the fear of the blank canvas and learn how to make abstract painting less intimidating. You will be using acrylic paint and other mixed media components to create dynamic abstract paintings. . The course will have students explore painting through lessons focusing on creating depth with color and design as well as understanding how to use line work and mark making to create gorgeous layers within an abstract work of art. Emphasis will be on loosening up your painting style, simplifying composition, and embracing experimentation.  Most materials provided. Supply list and directions to studio will come via e-mail the week before the workshop.
